We are sold out of garlic for the year.  If you are still looking to try some new heritage varieties try growing from bulbils.  We still have some, you will find them here. Sign up for our mailing list to be the first to hear about our availability next year.

All our garlic is organically grown on our farm near Kincardine Ontario.  Diversity is the spice of life and with such a great diversity of garlic food can never be boring!

You will find only top quality bulbs available at our online shop. Garlic purchased here can be picked up on farm or shipped to your location, anywhere in Canada.

While supplies last, the varieties we have this year are; Ferganski, Western Rose, Peidamont, Sweet Haven, Korean Red, Gaia’s Joy, Sicilian, Lokalen, Ali di Rosa, Ukranian, Korean, French Red, Baba’s Chesnek, French , Mennonite, Romanian, Russian, Persian, Italian, Chinese, Northern Siberian, Russian, Armenian, Rolish, Salt Spring Island.

For those dedicated garlic growers, we also have bulbils available for all our hardneck varieties.  We sell them by the umbel so the number of bulbils on each will vary depending on the variety.  Purchasing umbels will take longer to grow full size bulbs, but allows you to end up with a larger number of bulbs in a shorter time.

Check out our Garlic Shop and order online or contact us with any special orders or questions.  We begin shipping garlic in mid September, in time for planting season.

On our farm we focus on preserving diversity in agriculture and sustainable growing methods.  I have dedicated much of my life to growing food organically and garlic has always held a special space in my garden and my kitchen.  With hundreds of different cultivars available and a rich history this wonderful bulb continues to fascinate and surprise me.  With so much flavour and health benefits, garlic find it way into almost every meal in my home.

If you are interested in growing your own food garlic is a perfect addition to your garden.  It takes very little space to grow a years supply of garlic for a family.  With so many varieties to choose from, there is sure to be a type that fits your palette and growing conditions.  Once you get started using local heritage garlic, the range of heats and flavour will keep you coming back for more.

Our garlic is grown chemical free.  We take great care to assure that it is pest and disease free.  If you are looking to grown garlic you should be aware of the major pest and disease concerns and never plant anything that you are concerned about.  We can track all our varieties back to the reputable growers that we originally sourced from. We are members of Seeds of Diversity Canada and have been part of their great Canadian garlic collection.

Thank you for visiting, I look forward to hearing from you.
